The caregiver can help grandpa to shift from the bed to VIP2 and made good use of VIP2’s tilting to slightly tilt the wheelchair seat so that grandpa’s weight remains stable. The caregiver can help grandpa to lay down in the chair (recline), at this time, grandpa will naturally lay down with his arms and head in a comfortable position. Grandpa can sit in the correct position, and naturally sit up after returning the wheelchair to the upright position!
As the course of the disease progresses, the body gradually becomes stiff and tight and requires a specific angle to feel comfortable. I hope that the pressure relief and anti-slip function of the tilting VIP2 and the reclining function can help my dad find the most comfortable sitting angle, relieve pain, and make the ride more comfortable.
