Specially designed for users with partial paralysis, amputation, or asymmetric body contours to stabilize pelvic and thigh. Height on the left and right side can be adjusted independently, maintaining the posture, minimizing shear force and friction.

Fitting shape, soft and durable

The SmartCells are soft so that they deform individually, allowing the Vicair cushion to continuously adjust perfectly to your body. The SmartCells also have rounded corners, which allow them to move almost frictionless against each other without leaking and bursting. The cells can be ordered separately, therefore the maintenance cost is extremely low. The brilliant design was given the Grand Prix at the Salon des Inventions in Geneva.

Vicair O2 has a zipper running all the way around the cushion’s mid-section; While in use, every SmartCell will be compressed and deformed, but the cushion will maintain its shape. The Boxing Effect also allows the therapist to adjust the number of SmartCells (only if necessary) while the user remains seated on the cushion.

Fully machine washable wheelchair cushion. Easy to maintain

Wheelchair users may often develop infection due to sanitary issues with the cushion, which is why we should set higher standards in hygiene. SmartCells in the cushion do not have to be removed before washing.

Open sitting structure, 100% breathable and ventilation

It is easy to have tissue deformation when the skin is too warm or humid. Vicair ventilation design allows the air flow and keep a good balance between the temperature and the humility.

Microclimate: When the temperature of the skin increases, the cells will metabolize faster, which decrease its endurance to the deficient in oxygen and increase the deformation of the surrounding cells. The skin will also get weaker and looser, caused by sweating or incontinence, which increases the risk of damaging the skin.

Easy to air dry and to install
with the strap

The back strap is designed to be hung when
air drying. It can also be used to identify the back and the front of the cushion.

Directly imported from Netherlands, the covering package includes two sets of covers.

The breathable cover is located on the top of the cushion,
providing optimal comfort. The open-ended mesh cover on the bottom of the cushion offers ventilation.
